I like working with young scientists because they are so creative and passionate about what they do. They also teach me a lot of stuff that I otherwise would never learn about. Just last week, I learned from a young scientist about something called interaction networks, a machine learning model recently developed by Google’s DeepMind subsidiary, which is based in the UK. This was great because this model solves a problem that has been nagging me for weeks. So, now I can make progress. Basically, I love to learn! Dear young scientists, I also simply enjoy your company, your energy, your optimism, and your creative boldness. Today, we need you more than ever.
