I work for the ATLAS detector at CERN which is a big collaboration with scientists from all over the world – there’s over 3,000 physicists who work for it! This means there are always people to chat to about work and to discuss your ideas with, and you also get to learn loads about other countries and cultures which is one of my favourite things about being part of such a big group of scientists. I am also supervised in my work by Brian Cox who makes TV shows for the BBC, you might have seen him on TV before or heard him talking on the radio (he also used to be in a pop band called D-Ream when he was younger haha).
