      It can be anything. My working consists is finding new methods to make those calculations go faster of very large computers. I can give you 3 recent examples. (1) Simulating the airflow around a speeding car. (2) Digging into very large DNA sequence to try to understand the cause of certain diseases. (3) Calculating what happens to particles during the first second after the Big Bang.
