Question: do you think you will carry on with your work for the rest of your career ?

Even if, as I near retirement, I slow down on my research, I plan to continue to teach at summer schools, give public lectures, and mentor young scientists. And, I hope I’ll be able to continue to do this even in retirement, in part because I enjoy talking about science and in part because I believe that the future of life on this planet will depend more and more on science; therefore, everyone needs to know a bit about it.
